2021 Holiday Canned Food Drive

This amazing community has yet to fail at amazing us with the endless amount of support and generosity.

We held our second annual canned food drive on Saturday December 4th from 10am-2pm. With the generous support of three local businesses; Giant Tiger, B&H Your Community Grocer, and Jonsson’s Independent Grocer we were able to place four of our Chayse’n Trash bins around town serving as donations drop-off stations.

With the hard work and dedication of our amazing volunteers and Harvex Agromart for providing the heated shop, we were also able to pre-sort all items for the donations centers.

As a community, we were able to collect thousands of pounds of non-perishable items & $1000.00 in cash donations!!!

All non-perishable donations were donated to our local food banks House of Lazarus Community Outreach Mission and the Kemptville Salvation Army.

All cash funds raised are going to benefit the Memorial Family Classic organization to provide financial support to Kemptville, North Grenville, and surrounding area residents with debilitating diseases.

We have no words to express our appreciation to our volunteers, local businesses, friends and family, and to everyone in our community who made this happen.
